Spirits Will Be Raised with a Grande

Charlotte Catholic has recently announced the new addition of a Starbucks franchise in the cafeteria. The spirit store will be removed from the cafeteria permanently and replaced with a Starbucks. The construction will take place over the summer and will finish in time for the 25-26 school year.
While this renovation will come as a surprise to many, the administration has been working to put this together for the last year. Both faculty and students will be able to enjoy this new addition. Administration hopes that this will encourage students to arrive at school on time and allow faculty to have the convenience of their favorite drinks on campus.Faculty and students will be able to pre order their drinks in the morning to prevent time-consuming lines.
Each school day, Starbucks will be open in the mornings from 7-7:35am, during break, and during lunches. The menu will remain the same to what you would see in any other Starbucks. Since the franchise will now be in place of the spirit store, there isn’t enough room to hold everything that is necessary for full production. Only a few food and coffee items will be taken off but prices will all stay the same.
Although the cafeteria asks for the students to use their school ID’s to pay, the new Starbucks will accept all forms of payment. That way, students won’t have to continuously add money to their school account.
This Starbucks franchise will also be selling a limited-time “Cougar Frappe” drink that will be the school colors of red, blue, and white and will come with a cougar cake pop on top. Since this is limited it will only be available the first week of school to the first 10 students and faculty in line each day.
In addition, students may purchase CCHSxStarbucks merchandise inside the Starbucks. There will be mugs, cups, tumblers, and keychains available for purchase during any of the open hours.
Charlotte Catholic looks forward to this new franchise and hopes it will make morning Starbucks runs of students and faculties more convenient.
